Is a mobile wallet less safe than Electrum ABC on desktop?+
For meaningful balances, yes. Phones sync photos and messages to cloud accounts, browse the web, and receive SMS — each is a plausible key-exfiltration path. A desktop wallet paired with a hardware signer isolates keys behind physical confirmation.
Can I pair Trust Wallet with a hardware wallet?+
Trust Wallet's hardware-wallet support is limited to a subset of chains and typically requires Bluetooth pairing. Electrum ABC signs XEC transactions with a hardware wallet over USB, with the private key never leaving the device.
Does Electrum ABC connect to XEC dApps?+
Electrum ABC focuses on custody, signing, and transaction primitives (multisig, PSBT, watch-only). For dApp browsers and WalletConnect flows, Trust Wallet's mobile UX is more convenient — at the cost of a broader attack surface.
Can I move a seed between Trust Wallet and Electrum ABC?+
Sometimes. Trust Wallet uses BIP39 seeds. Electrum ABC accepts BIP39 during restore but you may need to specify the derivation path to match Trust Wallet's XEC addresses exactly.
